The Two Big Michigan Governor CandidatesHow do we select our governors? Is it by party lines? Is it because they tell you what you want to hear? Is it because they trash talk the other candidate the best? Last night, in Michigan, we had the first of three debates between the candidates and I was left wondering how we, as Michiganders, would choose the governor. Personally, there are a few off the normal beaten path questions I am going to look, for that make a difference for me. Here are a few of them

A Street Name But No Road

A couple weeks ago I discovered the strangest thing near my new house. Words don't do it justice. Look at the image below. Do you see what is missing?

There is no street where the street sign is. Behind the sign is a driveway. But, there is no street there.

  • mattfarina: @Mrs_Feature The woman at the well talked to Jesus about expecting a coming Messiah. Jesus said it was him. What didn't she believe?
  • mattfarina: @Mrs_Feature I agree that treating non-believers is different. But correcting believers is something we are to do. That is correcting others
  • mattfarina: @Mrs_Feature pharisees = top leaders. rabbis = teachers. jews = believers. Jesus was rabbi. He taught and kindly corrected everyday Jews.
  • mattfarina: @Mrs_Feature Jesus taught Jews (those of the faith). He corrected them (see sermon on the mount). When did he talk to non-believers?
